A Joke?  Absolutely!

I started off building digital dowsing rods, they are a fun idea!  I was approached and asked about building a "communications device".  The idea started as a joke, however, the "joke" left me shaken and confused about what I was seeing and hearing.  Twelve months later, I released the Puck.  I still don't make any claims, how could I?  See, I believe there are a lot of things going on in this world that we just don't understand.  I don't have the answers, just a ton of questions.  As a result, I struggle with these devices on an intellectual level every day. There are many methods out there and I strongly suggest that you try more than one.

ODDS:

If you ask a single word question and the device gives you a single word answer that is contextually correct, the odds are 1 in 2000 using the Puck.

Using the Ovilus I in dictionary mode, the odds are 1 in 511.  In phonetic mode, the odds change to 1 in 71.

Using the PX in dictionary mode, the odds are 1 in 2047.  In phonetic mode, the odds change to 1 in 71.

What about compound words and phrases?  Then the odds have to be considered by looking at the amount of time given for the response, the number of contextual responses, and the number of words or phonemes that can be chosen.  When using the Puck, I try to go further!  I look at the logs, were there any large changes or is it fluctuation in the environment "jitter", and I watch for trends and changes.

It’s more than likely you’ll find the subtle things rather than the WOW items.

Look, I’m not trying to upset the apple cart.  I’m just asking that people take a hard look at anything they are doing.  Be objective and don't allow your emotions to mislead you when using one of the Digital Dowsing devices.

I built the watermark feature into the Puck so that the “results“ could be exchanged and tampering is kept to a minimum.  I don't see any benefit in data that has been distorted.

EMF:

The Puck and Ovilus are not EMF meters in the conventional sense.  They sample EMF without regard to zero crossing and do not average the result. EMF is not a steady state!

If you want a steady state EMF meter, buy a tri-field or spend a few hundred dollars and buy a calibrated unit.  My intent was not another device designed to find stray AC signals in walls.  If we don’t start trying new things, we are never going to get anywhere.
